Many of you have expressed that you haven’t seen me. In early January, our family dog Jewel became ill. She was simply my fourth daughter giving us 13 ½ wonderful years. I was blessed to spend her last few weeks by her side where we had a few last truck rides, trips to Nans, just sitting on the porch holding her paws, and watching her still attempt to bury a bone. On 2/15 the girls and I said goodbye to our best friend and family member. Today as I write, it’s tough but I am so very grateful to have been Jewel's mom. I would like to thank Drs. David and Diane McCracken along with their staff for absolutely everything and Jo at the Happy Hound for all her love.
We apologize for the newsletter delay as we were in the process of working with a new marketing firm for the Galley. We are pleased to have White Fox Studios host our website and provide exceptional service.
As I type this December newsletter, I am sitting at the Isle of Palms with a temperature of 65 degrees, the door open with a gentle wind, and with this being a vacation I needed more than any as I came here totally worn out. Having this time with my girls and friends has been so good for my soul.
Whew we served for the month of October a total of 14,079 guests. This was a record-breaking month. I as well as the entire galley team are simply exhausted. It took each and every one of us working 6 and 7-day work weeks to make it through. Thanks to everyone for their continued hard...
