We’re a family-owned and operated restaurant located in Waynesville, a town in the beautiful Great Smokey Mountains of Western North Carolina.
Since opening in 1989, we have been frequented by locals and visitors alike. We’re known for our fresh, cooked-to-order seafood, hand-shucked Gulf and Blue Point oysters, poultry, pasta, and hand-cut steaks. Our house-made seafood chowder is the all-time customer favorite. If there’s any room left over, try one of our homemade desserts. Our bar offers a variety of cocktails, an extensive wine list, and a selection of draft, craft and microbrew beers.
At the Galley, we serve Thursday through Tuesday for lunch and dinner, as well as brunch on Sundays. Our creative team in the kitchen comes up with daily specials for lunch and dinner, and we serve generous portions of food that is as local and fresh as we can acquire.
We’re a first come, first serve restaurant. We do not seat incomplete parties, do not take call ahead seating, and cannot place you on our waitlist until your party is complete. We cannot accommodate parties of ten or more. Your party may be split in separate dining rooms and staggered in.
Our bar will remain a section, while you can get drinks and take them to the porch, you cannot place to-go orders or wait for your table at the bar. You must check in with the host desk for bar seating.
